Best Appetizers Ever!

So the Italian dinner was a rousing success. But as my computer has had both it's power source fail and the keyboard fail in the past week and now it's refusing to type the letter i until you bash the heck out of it, for now you'll have to deal with one of the best appetizer recipes ever!

I saw this in an Italian cookbook at chapters, but didn't buy said book. So I typed it in google and up popped the following from epicurious:

Salami Crisps

Ingredients:

24 paper thin slices of Genoa salami

Preparation:

Put oven racks in upper and lower thirds of oven & pre-heat to 325.

Arrange salami slices in one layer on two baking sheets. Bake, switching positions halfway through baking, until edges are crisp and beginning to curl, 10-12 min. Transfer slices to a rack to cool (they will crisp as they cool).

That's it! Easy right?! And they were a smashing hit. Along with the Parmesan Cheddar crisps and the really great Tuscan bread with fabulous olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Also next post, when i's are more readily available, the merits of a really good olive oil.
